Cranberry juice&Fries

I decided to join the logistic committee of the TEDx event that would be held at our school as I wanted to develop planning and leadership skills. I always enjoyed being a part of a big event in my previous school and I was very sure that I wanted to join this large-scale event when I saw the signup form. I especially enjoy the preparation process where we come up with the plan/timeline and the ways we could entertain the audience. So far, we’ve come up with the schedule of the day, and we’ve invited volunteers that could help us on the day of the event. On the day of the event, I will guide the audience to their seats and to their designated workshop locations. Some of the challenges we faced were the change of the plans due to the change of the event date. We were initially planning to held the event on a weekend, however, we realized that an event on a Friday will be more accessible to a wider audience. We had to adapt to a significant change of the plan.
We only have a week left for the actual event, so I want to make sure that I know everything that I have to do on the day in order to create a better experience for the audience.
I’m very excited about the event itself and the talks that will surely be very meaningful for me.
