Kahaani is an annual Indian Dance Showcase in my school that supports Voice of World, an NGO in Kolkata, India. The show aims to raise awareness and funds to support the NGO. I decided to join this showcase because I wanted to challenge myself by joining an activity that I have never done before. I was also keen to learn about the Indian culture as well as the cause behind this showcase. I was initially very worried about learning the dances, however, with the help of other members I was able to memorize them in the end. The experience of creating something together with my friends as well as people with who I have never interacted before was very special. It made me realize how much I enjoy collaborating with others.
