We are left with no more than two weeks till the project week, however, we had to make amendments to our itinerary because of our budget. One of the things that I found the most challenging is the communication between the partners. It was difficult to clearly state what kind of activities we needed for the project and to ask them to arrange an activity for us. I am grateful that many of our partners were flexible about the activities helping us to arrange an activity that was specific to our group.
On top of that, it was difficult to find activities that we could enjoy within our budget. In the end, we were able to meet the creativity and activity criteria with the activities that we could enjoy and could gain new skills. We tried to balance our plan with the enjoying aspect and the learning aspect carefully thinking about the skills that we might want to learn. We decided to take photography lessons as all of us are beginners in photography. On top of that,we are thinking of applying the skills learned in other activities where we might take each other’s photos while engaging in an activity.
Now we are on the stage of creating a more detailed plan including the ways of transportation and the specific time we need to be at each location. I believe that time managing skills will be essential during the project week as we have several activities happening in different places on the same day and we have to make sure we can be on time using public transportation.
